Not your normal formation of mineral. An impressive combination rich with both spinel and chondrodite from Luc Yen.
Lustrous, gemmy, beautiful lavender spinel octahedrons, to 2 mm, are richly scattered on all sides and are starkly contrasted by the translucent, burnt-orange chondrodite crystal up to 4cm cluster. The Sculptural matrix itself is unusual, having an unusual rough texture. Specimen sit elegantly on a custom made stand.
