A typical formation of Brazilian Amethyst. A spherical flower of rosette lifted cleanly from the copper rich matrix, leaving only a little patch of green on its back. There are hundreds of tightly inter grown crystal in this piece of Specimen. That form in flat cavities that make it look flat with the look of sunflower or chrysanthemum. For this reason it is famously know or naturally called Flower Amethyst.
